What is the difference between SMS and In App Function?

SMS Function

  1. Allows to SMS the patient through the portal and give reminders or notifications if needed.
  2. Only one-way communication - This can be sent by the Health Care provider to the patient who has accepted the service or not specified.
  3. Function only available through the HealthArc portal
  4. The length of an SMS is limited to 140 Characters.
  5. Patient List contains both App registered and non-app registered patients.

In App Function

  1. Allows to directly chat with the patient if needed and provide assistance.
  2. It's two-way communication in which the patient can also message and ask for assistance.
  3. Function available in both HealthArc Portal and HealthArc App.
  4. No limit on characters in a message.
  5. In app messages can only be sent to the Patients that are App registered.
